On the outskirts of town lies this sad old cottage, slowly being absorbed by the environment. Who lived there?, were there kids playing outside in the sun?. Doesn't matter, who cares about our history anyway. I would much rather paint this scene as a home being used (with a bit of redecorating of course).

A couple of old guys enjoying the late afternoon sun, after a hard day of doing nothing.
From a photograph I took while painting in Provence France. An impressionistic work that has been sitting around for a while, so I thought I had better finish it.
The photographer responsible for this image has been taken to interrogation and his camera has been destroyed. Heck .. OK .. it was me but I'm a painter not a photoghrapher. Someone said I'm not a painter either, .. he has been taken to interrogation as well.
